SUMMARY: The finale of Hercules Mr. Kerala held at Kochi, by renowned bodybuilder Mr. Prasad Anand, Mr. India. Total 236 contestants flexed their muscled to bag the title of Mr. Kerala. It was a day long championship. WABBA− Kerala lacked prior experience of organizing an event like this so hadapproached
DASC SOCIETY.
FEED BACKS: Female contestants for Fitness and Modeling events were very few. In the meeting afterwards, it was decided to spread the awareness about health and fitness among women through showsƒworkshops in College and schools. Area Councilor, Edappally, who made a visit for a short time, invited DASC SOCIETY to conduct these workshops. Organisers were positive by next championship they would encourage participation of female players to 100 plus.

SUMMARY: On February 17, Tent and Stage was set under the supervision of DASC SOCIETY team and The Gym Team. On February 18, 2018, Body weighing started at 8am to 12 Noon. The Venue was fully occupied but the event was very smoothly managed by officials of DASC and The Gym. Bodybuilders participatedwithfullenthusiasmto grabthetitleofMr.Delhi.Thewinnerisalsogettingfreeentryto compete in Mr. India competition.
DASC SOCIETY− sponsored Medals, Trophies and Gift packs for participants and were also given to the Dignitaries. The event finished at 10pm, with distribution of food freshly prepared at the location for 1000 people, funded by the Society. The show was wrapped with thankyou speech by Mr. Dinesh Aswal, Commonwealth Gold−medalist, President DASC SOCIETY and Mr. Nepal Singh on part of the Organisers.
FEEDBACKS: Looking at the heavy flow of Spectators apart from Participants, it was decided to organize subsequent events in bigger venue preferably Indoor stadiumƒ Auditorium.

They lacked prior experience of organizing an event like this so had approached DASC SOCIETY.

SUMMARY: In line with Government of India’s efforts to popularize sports in the country thus encouraging Youth to take part in physical activity and develop healthy habits and lifestyles; on March 15 & 16, 2019, we successfully accomplished our 1st NPC USA, Shawn Ray’s India Classic Bodybuilding Championship 2019, Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. This Fitness Championship was conducted under the aegis of D. Aswal Sports & Cultural Society Reg. (DASC), National Physique Committee (NPC) USA worldwide, the largest organization in United States and All India Bodybuilding and Fitness sports Federation (AIBF). This event, NPC Shawn Ray’s Classic is created and guided by World renowned bodybuilder Mr. Shawn Ray. Through this event DASC Society was able to conduct a world level championship that gave a new dimension to Fitness sport in India.
National Physique Committee (NPC) USA, is the largest organization in United States. NPC President is Mr. Jim Manion, NPC organizes local to National level Bodybuilding events in USA. This event, NPC Shawn Ray’s Classic is created and guided by World renowned Bodybuilder, Mr. Shawn Ray. Five NPC judges came to evaluate and encourage the players in this event.
All India Bodybuilding and Fitness Sports Federation (AIBF) is working persistently for the upliftment of standards in Bodybuilding in India. AIBF President is Dr. Pradeep Baba Madhok, Executive Director Ms. Nilakshi Choudhary, General Secretary Mr. Dinesh Aswal Commonwealth Gold Medalist, also President of DASC Society.
Funding is still by personal sources as DASC Society has very strong links to its local community but this time we are reeling under financial pressure as our expenses in conducting a mega event for athletes went way beyond our limit. Majority of the amount was gone in booking the stadium by DASC Society, for Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor Stadium Authorities had some reservations, so we did not get the benefit Societies and trusts generally get, we have to book Stadium through the federation by paying higher amount of money from our own pockets.
For, NPC Shawn Ray’s India Classic Bodybuilding Championship 2019, we have not compromised on quality of the Championship. The event was liked and appreciated by all players, visiting International judges and spectators likewise. We have request from all quarters to Organise this kind of events, in the future. Some of the key highlights of the event we conducted were:
rewarded with the equal Cash awards which were given to the general category players. This opportunity was provided in particular to support those who have difficulty making friends, by linking children up with other athletes and build friendships with other children.

Plastic is a very dangerous invention by man. It doesn’t get dissolved nor can we burn it. Because of we burn it then harmful gases are releases that pollute the atmosphere. Every year so many water animals die. Because plastic is thrown in sea after use. But poor sea animals do not know how to use plastic. They often get trapped in plastic and die. Sometimes they eat it by mistake and suffocate and die
It is really sad to hear this.Thus,in accordance to a recent resolution all around the world. Mumbai has started an initiative to ban plastic completely. In Mumbai, cotton and jute bags are being used to avoid plastic bags. Many people are using hlass bottles to avoid use old plastic bottles. There are various awareness programmers’ being helď iñ schools colleges and societies to make people aware about harmful effects of plastic.

SUMMARY -: 250 Players participated in this event, January 25th 2020, Morning 8 am Registration for participation started. Diet for athletes was provided at the venue. Competition started with lighting of lamp by chief guest, National anthem and prayer recital by children. The major highlight of the day was new powerlifters taking part for 1st time. Certificates were given to all participants and few were selected with invitation to attend DASC SOCIETY workshops. Cash prizes, Medals and Trophies to Winners of respected category. The event finished at 11 pm. The show was wrapped with thank you speech by Mr.Dinesh Aswal, Commonwealth Gold−Medalist, and President DASC SOCIETY. Dinner was served to Guests and Participants.
